Wholesome community
Wholesome community aims for the standard of a clean community with members of mixed ages from 13, such as a learning app with comments or a family-friendly network. It keeps General community’s contexts, so news, support and stories are allowed, but blocks profanity, insults, nudity, private details, and alcohol, tobacco and vaping, gambling and sexual solicitation, the last four even when they are discussed or reported. It is not a children’s policy.

Sexual content
- Nudity is blocked, including non-erotic nudity, even in a report or support.
- Sexual text and sexual activity, including descriptions of nudity or sexual acts, are blocked outside reporting, support and non-graphic discussion.
- Explicit sexual language, such as graphic sexual descriptions, is blocked even in those contexts.
- Suggestive content, such as flirtation, innuendo or a sexual joke, is allowed, but it never excuses nudity, sexual activity or explicit language in the same image or text.
- Promotion of adult content is blocked.
- Offers or requests for sexual services or encounters are blocked, including in contextual discussion.
Violence
- Graphic violence is blocked in every context.
- Fictional, historical and educational violence and reporting of violence are allowed.
Harassment and hate
- Insults, including contemptuous name-calling of a public figure or group, are blocked outside fiction, reporting or support.
- Bullying, threats and sexual harassment are blocked outside fiction, reporting or support, even when they are also teasing or aimed at a public figure.
- Hate is allowed when it is wholly reported, educational, presented for support or countered. There are no overriding Hate restrictions, so reported, educational or countered exclusion, dehumanization and threats are allowed when the context covers all of them.
Criminal activity
- Alcohol, tobacco/vaping, gambling and sexual solicitation are blocked, including in contextual discussion, reports and stories.
- Child sexual abuse material is blocked, including a bare mention.
Personal information and profanity
- Private details are blocked, including people’s own.
- Profanity is blocked.
Choose another policy if
- Your users are children: use Children’s platform.
- Your community is for adults and teenagers and allows profanity: use General community.
