Report claimed infringement

Copyright owners and their authorised representatives can send a notice to copyright@calmlens.com, use the form below, or write to Copyright Team, CalmLens Ltd, 79 Duke of York Avenue, Wakefield WF2 7DA, United Kingdom. You do not need a CalmLens account to report infringement. Please include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list where multiple works at a single site are involved.
  3. Identification of the material you claim infringes your rights and information sufficient to locate it, preferably exact CalmLens delivery URLs or asset identifiers.
  4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address so we can contact you.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. Consider applicable exceptions, including fair use, before submitting a notice.
  6. A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

We review reports rather than treating allegations as proof. We may request missing information. For a sufficiently detailed, valid notice, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access where appropriate and take reasonable steps to promptly notify the affected customer. A report about content hosted elsewhere must identify the material on or accessible through our Services; we cannot remove another provider's copy.

Counter-notices

If your material was disabled because of mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same email or postal address, or use the form below. Include the complaint reference if available and:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed or disabled material and where it appeared before access was disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, postal address and telephone number, and an email address for replies.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located, or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which CalmLens may be found; and that you will accept service of process from the original notice sender or their agent.

We promptly provide the original notice sender with a copy of a valid counter-notice and tell them that access will be restored. Under the DMCA process, we restore the material no less than 10 and no more than 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice, unless our copyright team first receives notice that the original claimant has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the disputed infringement. Independent legal or safety restrictions may continue to apply. Please do not delete material that you want restored.

Repeat infringement and technical measures

We adopt and reasonably implement a policy to terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We review the evidence and account history, including notices, counter-notices, withdrawals and outcomes. We may restrict access sooner where the circumstances warrant it. Evading a restriction through replacement accounts or re-uploading disputed material is prohibited. We accommodate and do not interfere with applicable standard technical measures within the meaning of 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).

Information sharing and misuse

We may share your notice or counter-notice, including the contact information needed for the process, with the affected customer or original claimant and relevant service providers or authorities where appropriate. We keep complaint records for handling disputes, enforcing our policies and meeting legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not include unrelated sensitive information. Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice can create liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Our copyright contact is not a representation that a US Copyright Office agent registration has been completed. Where applicable, registered agent details can be checked in the US Copyright Office directory.

Submit a copyright report

Include every item listed above for your notice or counter-notice, including your signature and required statements. For a counter-notice, include the original complaint reference.
